Well I uploaded the video as Yuri's Creepypasta Storytime, no reference to the original name at all, and it got demonetized. Something is wrong. Call it intuition. Please, stop demonetizing all my videos. @TeamYouTube

Youtube is unfortunately just going about this in a bizarre way. From what we know, they are basically feeding the data of videos they deem un-monetizable through a neural net, and it determines things that are in common. They then simply have it demonetize any (1/3)

videos matching the content it determined to be in common. They then supposedly take videos the creators dispute, and then review them. If the video is fine, it then feeds the video to network as monetizable, and it takes that into account when determining other videos (2/3)

monetizability. However, the issue is that there are tons of meaningless data points that are in common between "infringing" videos. This means that completely unrelated words and phrases could become flagged needlessly as a cause for auto demonitization. (3/3)
