I have heard they intend on taking things on a channel-by-channel basis, but it might be how it was with their previous moves: blanket first, then go through disputes one-by-one.

Jackie said in her vlog that you can dispute it but will NOT be over turned.

Is there a link to a source? This is not the information I have heard.

She got it from her contact at Youtube, so I can't give a direct link. But she explains this on her vlog channel so you can listen to explanation of what she was told by youyube.

I heard from someone who also contacted their rep and got the exact opposite information. :/ I just don't wanna jump the gun and assume the worst yet, especially since this seems counter to how they've acted in the past.

That's.. wow. Do the reps not get told the same things or is it going to be case by case? If so its scary to to think that your entire channel could be demonetized just because you deal with or like a lot of cute colorful things, and can't dispute it because youtube says so.

And then someone else who does similar stuff gets to dispute and get their monitization back?!

Well, it wouldn't be "because YT said so" it'd be because that's what the FTC said so, in that case. For the rest, I have no idea. That's why I've been trying to tweet at them to give us more info. Hopefully with us asking they will eventually give us some concrete answers.
