In your defense 99% of people don't even comprehend the extent to which AI impacts our world now. It's not that people have "resigned" themselves so much as people are victims of their own ignorance.

I wish I shared your optimism of us actually pulling this off. Not the tech. We'll do that for sure. But the actual "utopia" flies in the face of the history of humanity and our obsession with power and dominance of others.

It reads as too optimistic to the point of naivety to comment on. You use the phrase "constitutional amendment" unironically and talk about "designing a system so people can't vote themselves more money". In the US. AI will exacerbate inequality because they will make it do so

I like 's idea of blank passports as a way of giving people a stake in their country doing well: Every citizen gets a blank passport. They can sell it to any foreigner. If the country is doing well, the blank passport's value rises.
