Having the self-belief that you will be able to figure things out as you go along is critical to success at anything hard. Get started and trust yourself. No one has all the answers at the beginning.

What limits people more than what they can do is what they think they can do. Add iterative "figure it out" approach & "creativity in the face of necessity" as you run out of options & you plan to plan instead of having a starting plan, you will 10x what you think you can do.

Psychologists call this "super-optimism" and warn that it leads to short-term thinking that is characteristic of criminals and drug addicts. Success demands you walk a fine line between over-confidence and premature terror.

Yeah and then be prepared for absolutely no one else to believe in your solutions, especially if they solve anything big. Unless they can profit from you. But the world will still have to listen to elites saying to trust yourself is all it takes.
