TFW you network is super on a budget so you use a random modem, pfsense as a router, a old switch that needs to get replaced and a random modem/router/AP combo as ap
I've been using tp-link routers (probably 10 of them) since they fist came out, I know how you feel. DD-WRT, openWRT, pfsense are great tools, still use them daily!
TP-link routers just cook after 6 months to a year of use
I don't know what you're talking about, I still have one that I bought more than 10 years ago and I never had one die on me. I even increased the signal power in some of them and they are going strong.
