people of darker skins have been told in UK, to take Vitamin D to help boost immune system. this does stop the virus, but helps greatly in lessening the effects, from fatal to survivable. peer review studies have shown, is very effective.

Isn't it clinically proven that the darker the skin you have, the less vitamin D you absorb. Hence the recommendation. I read the same preventative info... And took extra D and C

I wonder has anyone looked for a link between this and vitamin D deficiency, given that dark skinned people in temperate climates produce less vitamin D from sunlight, which is where most of our vitamin D comes from.

Um. "People of color" is a generalization, not meant to be insulting or bigoted. It simply denotes "non white". Now that in itself does sounds snarky, but when in the backdrop of a predominantly white population, it merely designates "different"–– neither better nor worse.
