You can add location information to your Tweets, such as your city or precise location, from the web and via third-party applications. You always have the option to delete your Tweet location history. Learn more
I totally don't mind if this gets added as an option but not all channels actively interact with their viewers. The channel I'm subbing for is in Japanese and is owned by a Japanese entertainment company that only started expanding to social networking sites recently.
I wish they would! It would make my life so much easier. The problem is that this company was never interested in expanding outside of Japan until very recently (as do many of Japan's companies).
If we have to depend on the channel's owner to approve the captions, we would need to spam the videos (in Japanese) until the staff notices and this can take a while
(and we can't easily go back to fix the subs once it is published since it needs to be approved again)
