Every time I bowled hence I had Warnie in me.He was also a fantastic 1st slip catcher, a great IPL captain and a superb commentator. One of my cousins who grew up in Aus once said you could walk into a bar and raise a drink to Warnie for just no reason and that's not odd

Not surprisingly, there are very people who didn't try to copy his action when I was growing up - the dream was to go around the wicket, pitch it outside leg and get it to hit off stump. Tried this with a rubber ball, tennis ball, tape ball, leather ball & what not (..)

Back when I was 8, for the first time ever I was in these trials to get into the school cricket team.I had to bowl(I didn't know how to bat with all the gear)& I instinctively bowled leg spin, mimicking Shane Warne. For 7 years post I bowled leg spin for school copying Warnie (..)

As you start trusting your instincts when evaluating founders (which I would believe is a product of learning over time), the choice to back or not to back a co becomes easier over time but the articulation itself becomes harder - not sure if there are others who relate to this!

💯
Consciously tried to build this habit but in some ways the articulation has gotten harder with time, especially on founder-related decisions (market, model etc are easier calls).

This means that almost everyone who is still playing Axie after 30 days, is still playing after 90.

Fascinating read! Power of equity and compounding

Microsoft just reached $2T, pushing Steve Ballmer's net worth to $80B.
Interestingly: when Ballmer joined MSFT in 1980, he was employee #30 and received ZERO equity. By its IPO in 1986, he owned 8% of MSFT.
How did Ballmer get that stake? A contract quirk.
Here's the story

Leverage is a fairly basic topic.
But it's the No. 1 culprit behind most financial disasters.
I hope this thread showed you both the benefits and the pitfalls of leverage.
Please stay safe. Enjoy your weekend!
