Also believe this chart doesn’t include property crime under $1k. Also impression of safety matters when we try to restart tourism/convention industry after COVID and when we are competing against alternatives for company locations ie. Miami.

This chart shows SF has higher property crime (understated as many don’t bother reporting under $1k). Property crime is much more common than violent crime. So a much bigger contributor to an impression of a lack of safety. I’m an SF native rooting for my home town to outcompete
