We could simply give that 1000$ per month in hard money - Bitcoin. Then we have the best of both worlds. Ordinary people need a chance, as our system has been a lie and has grossly misdirected wealth in a completely unfair and undeserving way.

You don't get how hard money works, which explains why you fall for huckster politicians.

Would $1000/mo to everyone be an improvement over the existing welfare state? Meaning repeal all welfare programs and replace with $1000/mo per person. Better, worse, same?
-
Nothing stupid government does ever gets repealed. You just add more stupid on top of it.

The very fact that he can promise to give everyone money (and maybe actually do it!), means this is not money. Just a creative way to have that loser (the citizen) to pay for this party, like many times before.
-
I'd rather pay for parties than wars. $1000/month is a drop in the bucket. There are much worse things that need to be fixed. How about $1000/month for citizens and close corporate tax loop holes so small business can thrive.

To be fair, universal income is the least worst form of welfare provision. VS means tested benefits: - It avoids excessive (sometimes > 100%) marginal taxation rates. Work ALWAYS pays. - Highly fraud resistant (since everyone is entitled to it). - Simple administration.
-
We'll get lambasted I'm sure, but I'm for both hard money (bitcoin) and a fairer social safety net. I agree this is the simplest and fairest implementation and actually takes less government while producing healthier outcomes.

You should actually read the policies before you make comments. This is the right path for less government "loyalty point schemes" and bureaucracy. Absolutism will never get you to your goals. Have to start somewhere. This does that.
-
You can stick with the mess we have that keeps poor people from getting a better job, starting their own business and getting off government bureaucracy(boot on their neck) or you can start down a different path, pay the $$ directly, and boost the economy.
