2 Hispanic women were speaking to each other when they were approached by this a racist white lady who harassed them for speaking Spanish in the store. That’s when another white woman, an ally, confronted her. Twitter, lets find this ally & thank her.pic.twitter.com/amBO502AXI

Awesome! I hope these incidents don’t happen anymore, but we all know they will! People stand up for what is right, step in and do the right thing! Silence is not acceptable anymore
-
Silence was never acceptable. Glad to see brave allies.

This is weird to me because in California most people speak Spanish and English. I’m proud to know two languages.
-
Absolutely. I learned Spanish to better connect with those who visit or migrate to our area. Inclusivity is what people expect and hope for when they come here!

Arresting officer Carlos Cornejo How likely is it that Dwire would’ve been arrested and booked on bias harassment if the responding officer hadn’t been Hispanic?

"I'm not racist, you just need to speak ENGLISH in AMERICA" so basically she said she isn't a racist and then immediately outed herself as a racist. cool glad to know intelligence still exists. I swear I feel like the only semi-reasonable white fucker in this country sometimes :/
