Thanks Rhydian, I passed the hazard section, it was the written bit I failed. Hopefully next time I’ll be more successful!

I'm so sorry to hear this. Was it the written section or the hazzard perception that you struggled with?

I know it’s not the done thing on here but I want to share the real stuff and my journey to driving and say that I frustratingly missed out on passing my theory today by 3 marks. I’m a bit gutted and shed a ‘movie pretty tear’ as I rolled out but onwards and upwards, next time!

Is that cos it’s still considered a road?

Yeah cyclists tramline on the tactiles so it's actually dangerous for 2 wheelers too... Can't imagine much fun in a wheelchair either. On the trike no good line to take.

Officially, no. Nor scooters. This is particularly problematic in places with a lot of corduroy tactile because they are laid in the good way for wheels only in cycle lanes and not in the 'pedestrian' bit. It's not enforced much, mind.

Limit is 4mph on the pavement. Imo it needs some updating, as there are various bits of the rules on 'invalid carriages' which are silly, but that is what it is. Non-disabled people are allowed to go at running speed, we're not allowed to want at 4.2mph... or go in cycle lanes.

Not using it at that speed on the pavement! It’s not legal and it’s rarely safe. I do wish they allowed us in bike lanes, though.

What is the point of booking assistance via 's webform, including indicating I'm deaf, If they then indicate they're going to ring, and then in fact do ring? Repeatedly, until I finally answer the phone? Then request all the details again over the phone?

Yep, this is me. Despite my GP surgery being about as accessible as they could be, same-day appts and two excellent regular and other GPs. I feel bad for "taking up time/resources" cos I'm rarely simple... I'd much rather wrangle someone else's access shite than my own!

  18. This is heartbreaking - consulted with disabled people about access on their new trains and then didn’t take the advice that it wasn’t accessible. Why / how can that happen? Why are we seen as it’s fine not to include us?

  20. When I was 15yo, my school principal grabbed me by the backbof the neck, shoved me into a wall & said "You won't finish your school years in my school". Obv there were no witnesses - he made sure of that Over the years, until I was 18, he & most staff did their utmost to make 1/x
