Before getting off the bus, this little girl told the bus driver that “Shake It Off” was her favorite song. He stopped everything he was doing, parked the bus, turned up the song, and jammed with her...💪🌎🎶❤️

NASA and ESA pollution monitoring satellites have detected significant decreases in nitrogen dioxide (NO₂) over China. There is evidence that the change is at least partly related to the economic slowdown following the outbreak of coronavirus

One of the things that makes America great is that in many respects, states can ignore the federal government. I’m confident California health officials will continue to tell the truth about the new cases of they found. Pence & cannot silence us.

Dammit. These fools are gonna realize way too late that the worst crisis management politics is management of the politics instead of the crisis.

In 2016, did not think ’s lead in pledged delegates meant she should get the nomination at the Democratic Convention as he prepared to argue to superdelegates to opt for him since he was, in his view, more electable.

COVID-19 could be a once-in-a-century pandemic, but the good news is that there are steps we can take now to slow its impact and help us respond more effectively when the next epidemic arrives.

“During a potential pandemic” is really the worst time to change the clocks. We are 3x more likely to catch the common cold on <7hrs sleep, and the time change makes us sleep less:

The coronavirus, scientists working directly with it tell me, is fairly easy to kill on surfaces. The disinfectants/ sanitizers do work. The hard part is neutralizing it in people.

Coronavirus exposes all of Trump’s biggest weaknesses: 1. Incompetence 2. Rejection of scientific facts 3. Distrust of expertise 4. Disinterest in long-term planning 5. Embrace of conspiracy theories 6. Paranoia 7. Inability to learn from mistakes

President Obama set up anti-pandemic programs in 47 vulnerable countries, as a way to protect against something just like Coronavirus breaking out across the world. Experts begged Trump to keep them open. He closed 37 of them.

Mike Pence literally does not believe in science. It is utterly irresponsible to put him in charge of US coronavirus response as the world sits on the cusp of a pandemic. This decision could cost people their lives. Pence’s past decisions already have.

People are dead. Families are terrified. An entire community is on edge. I’m absolutely heartbroken for these Milwaukee families and coworkers. And I’m fed up this keeps happening when we know there are laws that would save lives.
