You can find this problem in red states and blue states. Problem is bigger than red vs blue. DAs are not incentivized to investigate the officers they work alongside 365 days a year. In cases like this, outside investigators need to step in.

Read the whole article. Do I think it was suicide by cop? No, definately solely based off his own internet searches. Besides the fact the suicude by cop wasn't one of his searches but "how much bleach should I drink?" and "the easiest way to kill myself" were shows

This is why system is broken. The DA relies on cooperation from the police to do their job, so the pressure is on the DA to protect the police and support their cases regardless of the circumstances.
