Let me guess... Another kid that didn't listen to the directions given by officers. Directions that when given are done so to protect everyone including the suspect and negate any chance of threat or harm to anyone involved.

It doesn't matter - he wasn't armed, and wasn't threatening anyone. Cops can't execute people for running - what's so damned hard to understand about that?
