#JulianAssange has been imprisoned for telling the truth. If President Biden genuinely believes what he says, that #JournalismIsNotACrime, then he should stop the procedure for Assange’s extradition from the UK & set him free. #FreeJulianAssangeNOW

Canada offered to take 30,000 Rohingya, but the Bangladeshi government refused. One has to wonder what that government is doing with the millions of dollars it gets for managing the Rohingya camps, which rival the ghettos of Nazi Germany. Is #Bangladesh profiting off the backs of… Show more

"Honorable Secretary, CHRD #Bangladesh continues to insist that no fair election will be possible under the illegal administration of Sheikh Hasina. She must resign forthwith, paving the way for a neutral CTG to hold the next election the way desired by the United States."

It is encouraging to note that the United States continues to insist that, unlike the previous elections under Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in #Bangladesh, the next election must be free, fair and internationally credible.

#Bangladesh slid 10 places in the '2022 World Press Freedom Index', placing  162nd out of 180 countries. However, #SheikhHasina claims blatantly that the DSA is never misused. Repeal DSA, demands TIB marking World Press Freedom Day

Excellent thread on changing the obsolete colonial structures of the UN. Many more people live in the #GlobalSouth. Thus, it is logical that those countries should be much more represented in international organizations & in the UN Security Council.
