    I am privileged that my institution provides a great GitLab alternative, which I have already arranged for my class to use. I have been using GitHub since January 2012, for personal, research, and educational purposes. Not anymore.

    I decided to not file an appeal to . In the context of recent events and these difficult times, I could not validate the absurdity and ridiculousness of an otherwise insignificant outcome. I sincerely thank everyone of you who cares.

    I have been debating wether or not I should file an appeal (I should eventually, just to access my own docs that were blocked without a warning). However, I will not file an appeal atm. Not only is it a matter of principle, but I am also not ready to upload a mugshot of myself.

    During these nightmarish days, decides to fix everything by closing my account for being Iranian. Honestly it almost made me laugh. This will be great for my undergrad class, where students have to deliver everything on github.
