70 consecutive COVID19 patients. They didn’t cluster into “high compliance and low recruitability” vs “low compliance and high recruitability.” Many had high compliance *and* high recruitability.

I am still puzzled so maybe an expert can help fill me in? I thought lung tissue with a lot of collapsed alveoli was both the kind that’s highly recruitable *and* noncompliant. What would have to happen at the tissue level to cause high compliance & high recruitability?
