I’ve definitely *felt* like things were a big deal in the moment, when in reality nothing much came of them; and I’ve been intellectually aware that things were high-impact without feeling like they were “epic” or “transcendent.”

I pretty much see the seeking of capital-m Meaning as a recipe for deep personal dissatisfaction. The real problem is analysis paralisis, out of the meany meaningful things one should do, what to do? Once big-M seeking s dissolved into what dance move to do next it becomes easier

Yep. The Ultimate Question for a mobile creature is “what shall I do?” pure epistemic curiosity is just an input for deciding what to do; values questions are just questions about what to do, etc.
