tl;dr: you know those new antibody test results saying way more people have asymptomatic virus than was thought possible, and thus we don't have to worry about it because it's low risk?

Very inaccurate tests are evidence, so if we had a medical system that could use evidence they would be very useful. In the system we have, where very basic instructions on how to interpret things are very unreliably followed, it's less clear.
