I think tests help but don’t fully solve that either. In particular, people often get false negatives early on, right? Tests and contact tracing together does seem best, but I think good contact tracing could catch most asymptomatic transmission.

You would ideally use tests, symptoms and network to build a probabilistic model to output probabilities for each person.
