Evidence about disinfectants for COVID19. Copper, alcohol-based disinfectants, and UVC light all work.https://srconstantin.github.io/2020/03/31/disinfectants.html …

        > UVC is a shorter wavelength, equally effective against microbes but not harmful to eyes or skin. This is not quite correct - a specific subset of UVC *might* be safe - the wavelengths between 200 and 220nm. This is called Far-UVC.pic.twitter.com/akWTePFIZl

Ah, I see the info further down is correct. Still worth emphasizing that the 230nm+ part of UVC is EXTREMELY DANGEROUS to human skin and eyes, and the Far-UVC (200-222nm) is not commercially available to my knowledge, so any UVC that you come across will be dangerous.

UVC: needs to be used carefully dangerous to the eyes and skin + produces ozone, which should not be inhaled (but also is a very effective disinfectant by itself!) I nuke fresh deliveries in the bathroom with locked door, then vent the space. Hopefully as good as wiping packages

Has anyone found a good set of 200-22nm LED's? I'd happily run those on top of my front hall.

What about heat? At what temperature do the viruses become inactive? (I guess freezing keeps it alive?)

60 degrees C for 30 minutes is definitely enough to kill it.
