It's more COVID19 lit review! This time: does non-invasive ventilation (on CPAP/BIPAP masks) or high-flow nasal cannula therapy really spread disease? Why? And how much?https://srconstantin.github.io/2020/03/22/contagion-risk-from-NIV.html …
ok so: ventilators dum-dums can use. do they even work? that was this post: https://srconstantin.github.io/2020/03/20/non-invasive-ventilation.html … and the answer was "yeah usually."

the big question is: if you don't have access to hospitals and medical professionals, is some kind of non-invasive, home-usable ventilator potentially better than *nothing*? it's not better than a hospital. but you might not have a hospital. (esp. if you're in a poor country.)

ok but that was other diseases. do the non-invasive ventilators even work in COVID-19? and the answer is we don't know as much, but yeah, probably, sometimes.https://srconstantin.github.io/2020/03/22/non-invasive-ventilation.html …

ok but the non-invasive ventilators are banned in a lot of hospitals. because they're thought to spread disease. so: do they? and how much? and could you maybe rig one that didn't? that's this post:https://srconstantin.github.io/2020/03/22/contagion-risk-from-NIV.html …
