on average, I still spend way more time than I like getting myself to Chill Out so I can get stuff done every so often I have a nice mental shift: "you're hardly *more* productive when you're freaking out. might as well just...not do that" SO WHY CAN'T I DO THIS EVERY DAY HUH

but I'm convinced there is this mental motion, call it self-compassion, or w/e, and some of us are refusing to EVER do it, it feels taboo. But it's the mind's natural healing process for bouncing back from everyday distresses, and if you don't do it, guess what! you'll feel bad!
