Thinking of starting a business where people pay me to read through the literature on some topic and explain it to them. Is there a demand for this?

Yes, and I still do it sometimes. Mostly the advertising for your service is blog posts. Some people also do a paid newsletter as an intermediate funnel.

There’s enough demand for medical lit review that I can’t fill it all in my spare time, but I don’t know if there’s enough for a person to do it full time. There might also be demand for business-related lit review, billed as market research consulting.
