it's not "psychological balancing" it's *exactly* what you'd expect. the moderate, accepting, tolerant-of-humanity-exactly-as-it-is attitude is going to coincide with a fair amount of domestic violence, though always safely within what society won't punish.

I meant more the "living out in Art what you can't live out IRL" angle.... Maybe at some point virtual reality will dampen this? .... As for actual violence, this is a bit different as far as I know. (But I am no expert.)
