There are compelling arguments that IP should be loosened, and arguments that researchers should get to capture more value from their work, but I'm not sure how you do both at once.

My view arises from extensive thought re: theory of law. I think we can know from principle that institutions of law are unjust, hence we are unjustly barred from exploring alternatives.
