My hunch is it does help *something something neuroplasticity of neurons involved in proprioception; something something upregulation* but good luck creating a study that can demonstrate it. It’d take ten years, mightn’t work, and that’s 10 yrs of missed speedwalking

Staying in shape will definitely help, and that will probably make you walk faster. (and consciously speedwalking is worth something as exercise)
