I know this is old news, but I'm curious what our best methods are for finding optimal combinations of doses of drugs (not just which 3-way combos have an effect). Could optimal dosages be found with something like multivariate gaussian processes?https://m.phys.org/news/2019-09-fruit-flies-longer-combination-drug.html …
I expect randomization could help. Treat each subject with random doses of all the drugs, then run regressions. Much more efficient than running exponentially many experiments.
