Forgiveness is a weird concept when you think about it. Actions have consequences; you can’t magically erase them. How can forgiveness mean something other than pretending a falsehood is true?

I’m glad I didn’t respond to your first post. You were talking about forgiveness from the perspective of the forgiven. Yea that I don’t understand either. But forgiving is for the forgiver in my experience not for the forgiven.
