I’ve really liked Military History Visualized as a much more fact-dense primer on how war works. (No, it’s not too advanced for a lay audience; I’m as lay as it comes.)

I always worry that materials that talk about WWII German stategy from a neutral perspective are Nazi sympathizers; I can’t tell if MHV is, I know Hardcore History isn’t because he talks about it AT LENGTH; so that’s an advantage but still not enough to make me keep listening.
