Being BIG and LOUD and rough around the edges and openly having personal, selfish desires...is a *good* thing, actually, and there's a lot of classism and sexism involved in the way society shuts people down for being that way.

It's unfortunate that so many of the people who are famous for having big, loud, confident, irrepressible personalities are also unethical. Sometimes people are attracted by that "life force" and end up feeling like they have to co-sign the immoral behavior.

Trump inherited almost all of his money. He didn’t take risks any more than a trust fund brat who spends daddy’s money at a casino. Bad example to defend.

I don't want to defend his behavior but rather to defend *the thing people like about it.* If you zoom wayyy out and cross your eyes and squint and don't think too hard, he looks vaguely "ballsy". I'm in favor of being actually ballsy.

Agree. More interesting is not the loss but the way he gained after the loss. Hence the interest in the disclosure for his tax report.
