I don't think the barrier to more companies using IQ proxy tests in interviews is that nobody's ever built one. Ah yes, which is also why I see low interest in using decision markets to choose hires, in academia or elsewhere. I do think there's also an effect of wanting it to seem like your judgement is influential in hiring decisions.

1) Lots of companies do “IQ proxy tests” in the form of take-home exercises/HackerRank etc. 2) Not clear to me why you’d ever want to use *only* standardized tests to make these choices. Most operators can vouch that this would be disastrous.
