I had initially bought $TSLA shares in 2016, thinking that I would buy a Model 3 with the profits.
Now if I sell, I can buy a f#%*ing house 
But I am not going to sell

Yeah. I did sell a big chunk of it to buy a home & made up the difference with aggressive options buying. However, that Model 3 purchase is still pending and has now morphed into a future Model Y & Cybertruck purchase. I think I’ll have to take a loan

LOL! I had the exact same situation. Started in 2016 w/goal of having Tesla pay for my Model 3, but, um.. one thing lead to another and now Tesla might actually buy my future car and house. I'm actually a bit overwhelmed of late and need to find a financial person to talk to lol

I initially put my deposit of 10k into TSLA in 2015 while waiting for my Model X. Now I have made 250k from that initial investment, mostly from TSLA options.
