It's like something happened in the mid00s that meant an entire section of the workforce were ousted to accomodate cheap, foreign labour. Have we tried sending more people to University and printing more money? We need action.

That is what 12 years of Conservatives pursuing growth, liberalisation policies looks like. Degrowth usually refers to GDP, which even IMF, The Economist say is not a good indicator - should we pursue the growth of something not worth growing? Alternative is BAS, or 428ppm today

What role does the baby boomers entering mass retirement play in this ? I certainly agree that some of the most vociferous opponents of housing are local lefty greens & apperception of nature here does seem to revolve around taking the dog for a poo.

Tell me you don’t understand degrowth without telling me you don’t understand degrowth. Degrowth is not about stagnating efficiency or productivity per hour worked.
