Louder, for the people in the back. I have a special stabby rage reserved for people who exploit and abuse refugees.

New: A former Xinjiang prisoner described in an interview his first-hand account of inside a Chinese detention camp, where he faced interrogations and torture. Lawmakers say he has rare knowledge of how China uses tech to facilitate human rights abuses.

None of what Tim Apple is saying here is remotely true. Allowing side loading has absolutely nothing to do with disabling security features and app permissions. Side loaded apps can still be sandboxed and require permission requests like any store-gotten app!

Tim Cook says sideloading would allow apps to “track our users against their will.” Has Apple thought of… changing iOS to require user permission before allowing apps to access user-identifiable information?

Listen, I love YouTube, but this whole PiP thing is unbelievable. This isn’t some premium feature that we’re hoping they can hack into iOS or something, it’s basic iOS functionality that should be there for all users.

You know you have a lot to catch up on when your timeline starts showing a "load more tweets" button in the middle. But you know well before seeing that by how you subconsciously avoid Twitter altogether because there's so much to catch up with. I'm still 3 days behind lol.

I’m getting tired of blue checkmark account doctors pushing the ‘individual responsibility’ aspect of ‘calculation of the amount of risk that they want to take in going to indoor dinners/etc’ when the options for accessible employment and such has basically been taken away.
