I love how the blooper reel for Toy Story 2 implies Woody is actually a super obnoxious prankster on the set.
I still can't get over the ending to Pitfall: The Mayan Adventure

I love how this is the very first look Rayman gives when he realizes there's a Rabbid in this lobby.

Nintendo fans looking at the steak icon on the table
Warner Bros. Discovery has to be the most catastrophically self-destructive merger I've ever seen.
It's not enough that loads of shows and films are casually thrown away. We might just end up seeing the end of Cartoon Network entirely due to Zaslav's deliberate carelessness.
This exchange will live rent-free in my head for the rest of my life.

What's a tweet that's so canonical in your mind you make shorthand reference to it, even if people might not know what you're talking about? (I sometimes just say "uh oh y'all it's gettin' kinda hazy" expecting people to get it)
So uh
just casually found out that Snoopy was planned to be playable in Pac-Man World Rally.

I think the only reason they did this was because they had no ideas for him.
I saw this pop up in my feed and briefly thought I said something that pissed people off.
THEY LEFT IN THE ORANGE BORDER
Holy crap.
I'm not even doing anything.
This scene just...LOOKS like this...

I love this particular bit from the Mario movie extended cut

I'm surprised Disney let that air, given that they're Disney.
Alright y'all
Klonoa fans out there have begged for years on end for the series to return in some fashion.
Don't let this end up like the Wii remake where the sales didn't live up to the preceding fan hype.
MONEY TALKS.
BUY THIS KLONOA PACK.
I know I will be!

Rewatched this movie the other day. I love it dearly.

Donkey Kong breaking tensions in scenes was one of the funniest parts of the movie.

This looks like a Game Over screen for a Russian SEGA Genesis bootleg game.
All the ones you forced into your algorithm and away from animation.

Sure is a lot of "these days" talk for a character that's supposed to be high school.
Shrugging it off like this is exactly the problem
Replying to
Honestly it's amazing how well they recreated the Jetsons intro up until the Family Guy shtick kicks in.

Nice of Rodrick to have Greg's drawings on the back of his van

I think it's kinda cute/funny how Velma and Johnny have been shipped by CN on occasion.
Even in Johnny Bravo Goes to Bollywood, he gives her a shoutout.
Was watching some stuff on Mr. Enter lately. I honestly can't believe I ever saw him as a valid animation critic in high school
If he thinks writing positive reviews is too hard and has no respect for what goes into animation, what makes him think he'll be a succeeding creative?
Replying to
Right.
I predicted from the get-go Owen would win because he was pretty much ALL over the advertising for the show.
Yup. It aired like that in the USA.
Back in the day, kid me no idea that was a censor decoy.

That's a butchered version of fanart from an artist that contributed to I Am 8-Bit.

Everyone: Agreed. We'd love to play them on Switch!

The fact a crypto news site outright tells people crypto is bad is hilarious.

Even with the predictable punchline, I still have no idea how they managed to get away with that shot of the splatter on the wall.
There is absolutely no way this will result in anything but a disaster

"At that price, you're practically robbing me!"

And they kept on teasing this idea that Pac's parents could still be alive and Pac will be able to find them.
But he never did.
On the website for the original Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 64, there is a set of e-card animations based around six characters from the game.
These are Flash animations that don't appear to have ever been shown anywhere else.
Here's a thread of GIF versions you can view.
Ok.
I normally keep the language on my twitter relatively safe.
But I had trouble sleeping, so I played a bit of Mario Kart Tour. My eyes just shot the hell up after finishing a race.
This is an official Nintendo game with no multiplayer of any sorts yet. And yet...
...wtf?
This coming from you, a website that turns creators into work zombies?
Jaiden's words are wise. Your usage of them is utterly hypocritical.

When your very first game is PROVEN to be far more appealing and consumer-friendly than what you've been doing since, maybe crafting the best Angry Birds experiences possible isn't what your goal is.

Why is Arthur actually one of the most savage shows ever

I enjoyed Sonic Boom but I always felt the CGI could have been better.
Probably comes from the limitations of doing this for TV, but the 2D drawings look like they'd sell the scenes a lot more. That's what I liked about the Archie comic, too.

Bowser's looking at the thought bubble like "Goddamn, do I really have to pay $180 for that crap?"
Apparently there's existing animated videos from Atsushi Saito related to a scrapped Pac-Man World game from 2010.
This is...very surreal. I could only have imagined how this would've turned out if it was made.
You mean to tell me there were Sonic fans hoping Spiderverse 2 would fail???
Replying to
Fun fact: "Sorry" and "apology" are words not mentioned in this tweet.

I take it you did try to pitch a new original?
Just had an intriguing Twitter chat with one of the Arcade Archives people
Apparently to both our surprises, it seems Bandai Namco had Ms. Pac-Man's sprites changed so she resembles (or IS, rather) Pac-Mom from Pac-Man Museum+
I guess this will also apply to the Museum+ version
Oh boy, a sincere rant mocking the viewer played off as comedy. That sure bodes well for what's to come...

I was a cameraman for the Ellen show and one time she came up to me and asked if I wanted a hertz donut; I was hungry since I didn't eat breakfast so I was like "yea". Then she stomped on my ribcage, pulled out a gun, shot me 87 times and asked "hertz, don't it?"
I laughed.
Replying to
Kinda surreal to look at.
It's almost like a fusion of the design philosophies between the original and the Wiimake.
A few months ago, I saw someone posted a video clip of the Kenny James (VA of Bowser) doing a Hank Hill impression during a panel with Samantha Kelly (Peach/Toad/Toadette).
During the past week, I figured I'd finally animate over it.
Enjoy!

And some of the meta "humor" is just copy-pasting internet comments into a script.
The Velma teaser not only didn't even try to mask it, but had the title character act incredibly out of character as a result of it.
Replying to
What's this "Chicken Boo" people are talking about in the comments? I don't see anything like that.
Replying to
With how much Starlow dunks on Luigi, you'd almost think they'd follow the line with "And Nintendo lost so much money over it!"
I don't see the problem; it's just imitating the healthcare system.
Meanwhile, Nintendo Power LOVED Klonoa.
If there were any copies sold in the USA, it's likely because of the their glowing, thorough coverage.
It got a wide preview spread, a 9/10 review, further mentions in future issues, and the character showed up in the Star Power feature.

How does one get to play something this hideously chaotic

Glomgold was already my favorite character in the show by this point, and this moment *cemented* that.

Absolutely poor form.

Today marks 20 years since the release of...well, a 20th Anniversary game for Pac-Man. Although Pac-Man World wasn't my first venture with the Man, I can't deny the influences this franchise wouldn't have had if not for this game.
Plus, it's quite a fun title in its own right.

Zim would fit right in with the conspiracy theorists, so he's safe.
Puppycat would have "a gamer moment" during an average Twitter argument and get quickly offed that way
Replying to
I would *like* to play it
But it's not like a standard arcade machine where arcades are going to pick it up. I think they only had the game tour, like, two places in the US or something.
Replying to
It's such a shame because Pixar films used to be an EVENT.
Now their collective portfolio has stuff that makes me think "Maybe this will fine to distract the kiddies with"
If there is any time for Klonoa to finally get the recognition it deserves, it is NOW.
Like I've said before, everyone that's been clamoring for the remasters to be made *better* be buying it. And I hope platformer fans less familiar get curious enough to give the Klonoas a go.

This is everything wromg with being obsessed over a character's exclusion in Smash Bros.
