    I'm starting a vacation this afternoon. I want to focus on the world around me, instead of staring at toxic brain-rot on stupid blaring screens. So when I leave work today I'll be disabling my social media accounts until Monday, Jan. 7.

    At the time this story came out I was optimistic CA would fund safe drinking water, but legislation to address it was killed and the water bond which had some money for it failed. We have an ongoing crisis the size of 3 and half Flint, Michigans in our own state.
