    Last night Old Town Scottsdale was at its best. The inner streets were blocked off, making them safe and filled with people instead of traffic moving at two hours per mile. Indian School was calmed, with rideshare drop offs on both sides. Too bad it’s only bc it’s Open weekend

    As more rideshare trips start/end at transit, like this trip, minimum fares matter more. Other impacts: - Pick-up/drop-off logistics become an increasing portion of the experience - Clear locations matter more (putting Coffee Mission for 24th St BART won’t cut it)

    Went to the farewell for an early employee who was the first native Spanish speaker. Before her, it was me who spoke the best Spanish. It was so awkward to verify her language skills in the interview. But having her was huge.

    Today a woman I hired presented to a pm/dev group about Opendoor Mortgage. Two years ago, it was me presenting to the same group about a younger Opendoor Mortgage. One person came up to me after my talk and said she’d be a great fit for us. It was her. Reach. Out.
