a light truck can be a useful tool, and I have owned one myself. making the grille 6 feet high so you can't see if you are running over your kid does not make it more useful. it does the opposite

right exactly -- a truck is a useful tool, many need them for work and such! but you shouldn't need a grappling hook to get in the damn thing. when I was in college I had a bitty 4-cylinder Toyota pickup with a full-size bed and you couldn't get something twice that size today
