I think the point of this clip is that it will be used against him if he becomes the nominee, and most of the country isn’t aware of his decades of saying positive things about communist governments. Whatever you think of the content, most of the country will not like it.
Most of the country doesn't care. Obama was a Muslim socialist to many America's because that's what the right wing told us he was. People still voted for him.
