"we're Consultative Monarchy ruled w/ consensus not by divine/hereditary right" is a strong start

Heh, that hooked me
-
We're not a hereditary monarchy, we operate on a system of consensus where the consensus is always that the Emir's son is the best person for the job.
-
Sounds like a familiar system
-
.
@tomgara "We're Consultative Monarchy ruled w/ consensus not by divine/hereditary right. Emir shakes hand w/ each tribe dean at tent every 18 Dec as historic social contract symbol." = Al Thani's chosen by Qatar tribes to rule, unlike UK (divine right) or KSA (rule by conquest). -
Our rulers are chosen by super PACs.
-
.
@ryangrim Super PACS underwritten by Tribes of Al P&G, Al Pfizer, Al Marlboro & Al Smith Bin Wesson.

But isn't Al Rumaihi on record saying Cohen asked him for "millions" to go to the Trump family at this meeting??? (and he says he didn't pay him, fwiw). And any meeting with Cohen at Trump Tower has to be prima facie corrupt at this point, right? Why attack Seth etc?
-
Are we really expected to just accept this was a legitimate meeting? I don't think Trump does that...like ever in his life. So even if Qatar didn't want to bribe, they're going to a meeting where they've got to expect such a request might be made, right?
-
I'm not saying people might not be jumping to conclusions accepting this whole story as fact, but I also think Trump and Cohen have long ago worn away any presumption of innocence like a court of law has to afford them.
