Had the DCCC, for instance, funded a bunch of mailers letting voters know that Morganelli is anti-choice and a Trump supporter, I’d of course report on it as news but would not criticize it. That would seem entirely reasonable.
It’s vital the playbook (and there IS a playbook - Rahm, 2006), be exposed. Race by race. What the DCCC does is typically is ignore red districts & then throw in some self-funding, *not* progressive person in a blue area to UNDERMINE the actual progressive. Over & over. 1/2
