There’s some confusion here, lemme try to clear it up: I personally have zero objection in principle to the party intervening in primaries. There are times it is 100% legit. My criticism is of counterproductive interventions done for the wrong reasons. https://twitter.com/earlmanwich/status/996579066206662661 …

It’s vital the playbook (and there IS a playbook - Rahm, 2006), be exposed. Race by race. What the DCCC does is typically is ignore red districts & then throw in some self-funding, *not* progressive person in a blue area to UNDERMINE the actual progressive. Over & over. 1/2

it MATTERS that the behavior of the DCCC is talked abt b/c they recruit Blue Dogs, (yep! working w/ the Blue Dogs 4 recruitment, there’s a VETTING PROCESS-& NOT what a dem should be), look at
@JoshGottheimer -dccc special. Every day, literally one of the worst voting records- “F”pic.twitter.com/cJv9oFd7tb

3/ so, YES. it matters. & DCCC specials rarely last more than 2 election cycles. Why?They’re terrible & obviously folks in those districts don’t feel represented. All one has 2 do is look at the voting records & the tilt. DCCC idiocy like what they did 2, Levi -CO-06, 4 STARTERS

The DCCC made their choice and they appeared to back Morganelli by not entering the race except to ask people to drop out

I REALLY wish they had. Morganelli would've been a problem for both the establishment and progressive wings of the Democratic party. We don't need another
