So Haspel wanted to step aside to avoid Wednesday’s intense interrogation in the Senate, during which nobody will cover her face with cloth, turn her upside down and pour water until she thinks she’s about to drown. She will be allowed to sleep the night before and night after.

Hasn't it already been debunked that Haspel was in charge during the waterboarding of a certain prisoner? Are we just ignoring that now or what?

Previously, it was reported that she oversaw the waterboarding torture sessions of Abd al-Rahim al-Nashiri and Abu Zubaydah. It was then pointed out that she became chief of base only after the latter's session.

But having responsibility for the torture of _one_ person instead of _two_ people still makes you responsible for torture!

Just wondering. Can anyone list the names of the people who convinced her to "F**king GO for it!" so to speak? Afterwards, let's hope they don't do a roll call vote in order to hide their up-votes in shame. We want the NAMES of the Senators who vote (in our names) to confirm her.

Idk all of the names as yet, But Feinstein has already told us what a nice dinner conversation she had with Haspel. As far as I know, there was no waterboarding involved.
