I'm curious whether the DCCC has ever concluded that the more progressive candidate is actually the likelier one to win a seat ever? It seems to me that they hide their preference for building a centrist pro-business caucus behind the nebulous "too progressive to win" canard.

Jesus. Not surprising to say the least, but the receipts are maddening. Ugh. Just repulsive.

Let's not kid ourselves. The Dem establishment is not looking for the best general election candidate, they are specifically seeking to stifle any movement of the party away from their pro-Wall Street corporatist agenda.

"Hoyer insisted, and there was nothing uniquely unfair being done to Tillemann, he explained: This is how the party does it everywhere." And that is why they have been losing..everywhere. And why they hated Sanders. Seen this in action myself in NY. At least Hoyer was honest.
