I don't know if the impetus here is Cuomo getting nervous and again reconsidering his running mate, the d-trip (or national consultants otherwise) reconsidering McMurray and wanting a more proven/moderate commodity, Hochul reconsidering the wave opportunity, or all of the above.

Fwiw, McMurray went from giving off a blue dog vibe a few months ago, talking about fiscal discipline, bipartisanship and gun heritage, to an issues page with: legal pot, Medicare for All, DACA and common sense gun control.
