I did paid petitioning for a Dem in NY, two districts over, some years ago. Going door-to-door to confirmed Dems, in a similar topography, we'd average about 25-50 good signatures per person per day, iirc. If they only had 9 days to do this & padded their margins at dorms, lol.

Isn’t it technically that the “witness” needs to be a registered Dem for a year? (I.e. a registered dem can take a team of petition gatherers out and witness the signature collections by the canvassers)
