centrist is an extremely loaded word, especially to your audience. She’s not a lipinksi-esque dem and that’s what this appears to imply. Having a challenger even further left than you doesn’t make you a centrist by default.

Yay! (But seriously, I don’t have facebook-level data, but my sense is that a majority of the subscribers were for clinton over bernie; it was not meant as a dig, just describing how the media have covered that race)
you could have used “establishment” and “anti-establishment” or “party supported” and “insurgent” or any number of distinctions that didn’t erase the fact that she is a longstanding politician and one with yes, a progressive record- policies she’s voted on again and again.
establishment is also deeply loaded now and I try to avoid it. Surprised to hear that would have been preferable.
At least establishment would acknowledge the fact that she isn’t a newcomer and has been part of party leadership
I figured that the fact that she was a front runner for governor says in itself that she’s quite a serious candidate
