      This was not shoddy journalism by Lee, it was an error that I edited into his story. He filed the story accurately and I mistakenly added immigrant to the top of the story.           You make it sound like you added one word. Lee makes it sound like the crux of the story was radically different. It just doesn’t square.

          The word I added, immigrant, I added multiple times and it changed the story in a big way. One word can matter a lot. I didn’t realize I was making a substantive edit.
