I'm confused; are you saying Ellis Wild or Morganelli? The latter is a racist fool but the former is pretty good

If they are backing him that's 100% unforgivable. If they are trying to get one of the two of Wild or Edwards out so they can back the other, I see what they are doing. If they are targeting just Edwards that's a bad look and unforgivable.
-
Honestly, I think Wild should run for state senate and Edwards should stay federal. Just my useless opinion

what determines how much DCCC funding a candidate gets? in our district in PA 1 candidate got 27K and the other 0.
-
It depends on what they feel they need to win, and how much they can allocate. The big thing, it seems, is that when they pick someone, it lets Donors know who the anointed one is, and that's where the real fundraising surge comes from.
-
this and pre-primary party endorsements seem so... off. why not have a fair fight in the primaries? I guess I'm too naive.
-
The most generous explanation that I can give is that the DCCC has bad/outdated metrics for how it evaluates candidates that can win in the general. Some will argue that they are specifically trying to box out progressives, b/c they are a long-term threat to the establishment.
-
Some will argue that it's entirely about wanting candidates that can raise gigantic piles of cash, so that the consultant class can syphon off the money. They are all probably correct. Personally, I think that they're grossly underestimating the moment we are in, right now.
-
The Ossof, Warren,ORourke race, and Campa-Najjar races have showed that if you put your back into it, you can raise gigantic piles of cash from individual donors. I just don't think they understand that, basically, right now, if you ask for it, money online is unlimited.
-
This is the problem. You're not helping. We need to be united and your support of purity test won't help. I'm a progressive and I realize the candidate has to fit the district. If you don't you're being unreasonable.
-
That's my point. We haven't meaningfully contested these districts to actually understand who fits the district now. If, in 2016, you told anyone that a Trans woman would win the VA-13 Delegate race, against the guy that wrote the Trans bathroom bill, they'd say you're crazy.

Once again: This is the problem. You're not helping. We need to be united and your support of purity test won't help. I'm a progressive and I realize the candidate has to fit the district. If you don't you're being unreasonable.
-
The DCCC should not weigh in on a Primary ever. Let the district decide who is best for the district.

@TheDemocrats. They are solely supporting submissive, obedient candidates, ideally ex-GOP, that enable them & their center-right@GOP compatriots to preserve the brutally inequitable, NeoLiberal status quo. Why? Because they just do not give a shit about YOU.#ForTheManypic.twitter.com/bDjDXnwRSo
-
SO what exactly do you propose that we do about the Republicans right now, if you don't like the Democrats? We need a solution NOW, not in a generation when all introducing Socialism gets everyone is an equal share of nothing because R's looted the country and stole everything.
-
@TheDemocrats -@DNC@dccc - don't seem to share your fears; why is that? You seem to assume there's a material difference between Democrats - wholly committed to a vision of... nothing - and their@GOP compatriots. There's not. TOGETHER both corporate parties shredded Americapic.twitter.com/NsHyMhF3W1
-
Again, pointing out the problem is one thing. Got a new political party in your back pocket? Come up with a solution that can be implemented quickly or go home. I'm voting Democrat as I have since 2008 because that is how we don't get Republican assholes in power. Period.
-
There is no "quick solution" to a problem - and it's a bipartisan problem - that's been 3+ decades in the making. And again, voting for one asshole in lieu of another changes nothing; you cannot keep doing the same thing & expect a different result.https://youtu.be/LTyFH5kGGJI
